Mos Def and Jay Electronica preformed at Amos’s Southend yesterday night. Even with my hands sweating with anticipation and the after effects of the QN5 MegaShow still fresh on my mind, i was still blown away.
First let me start by saying that Jay Electronica’s work on wax doesn’t hold a candle to his live performance. I showed up just in time to hear the first words leave his mouth. Soon after i arrived at the venue, i found my self in the middle of the crowd rapping Act 1: Eternal Sunshine (The Pledge).

After helping jay preform (from the crowd) and a lot of local love, we ended up outside chatting with jay. We spoke of hiphop, primary, his performance, and everything else under the sun. Of course we hooked him up with a (my favorite) primary shirt, witch he graciously accepted. I thanked him for the show and he thanked us for the love.
